Project Overview

tlhealthcheckupcenter.com is the official corporate and patient-facing website for TL Diagnostic & Health Check-Up Center, an advanced medical and diagnostic facility established in 2022 located in Uttara, Dhaka (Airport Road). The platform serves both as a corporate information hub and a functional patient portal — offering online appointment booking, patient login/registration, medical report verification by report number or passport number, health check-up package listings with original vs. discounted pricing, doctor profiles, image/video gallery, blogs, certificates, career listings, and sister concern information. Built fully from scratch as a full stack Laravel application.

Technical Approach

Built with Laravel as the full backend framework with Blade templating. The most technically significant feature is the medical report verification system — patients can search their diagnostic report by report number or passport number, and the system queries the backend database to return report number, date of medical, patient name, passport number, medical status, and agency — a critical feature for outbound passengers needing to verify their fitness reports. Built a full patient portal with registration, login, and appointment booking tied to doctor availability. The health package service pages display original vs. discounted pricing with doctor consultation fees, all managed via the admin CMS. Gallery, video, blog, certificate, and career sections are all independently managed from the admin panel.

Challenges & Solutions

The report verification system was the most critical and sensitive feature — patients and employers search by passport number to verify medical fitness for outbound travel (visa/work permit purposes), so accuracy and security of the lookup were paramount. The system was built with strict input sanitization and returns only the allowed fields (status, agency, date) without exposing full medical data. Managing health package pricing (original rate vs. package rate vs. doctor fee) across 10+ packages required a flexible pricing model in the database that could be updated easily from the admin panel without code changes. Multi-section content (gallery, videos, certificates, sister concerns) required building separate CMS modules, each with its own upload and management flow.

Outcome

Successfully delivered a fully operational diagnostic center website and patient portal for TL Diagnostic & Health Check-Up Center serving patients in Uttara, Dhaka. The report verification feature provides a valuable service for outbound passengers and their employers to instantly verify medical fitness status online, reducing phone-based enquiries. The appointment booking system enables patients to schedule consultations with specialists in Radiology, Pathology, Biochemistry, Physical Medicine, and Cardiology.
